VINTAGE DANISH MID-CENTURY CHAIR & OTTOMAN by MADSEN & SCHUBELL MODEL MS68 1968Made in Denmark and designed by Madsen & Schubell model MS68 ,these beautiful chairs offer very high build quality and the kind of superior upholstery that is typical among high end midcentury Scandinavian furniture, this particular chair comes with a matching footstool-ottoman both pieces are upholstered in soft cognac leather, featuring an adjustable reclining mechanism on the chair which is fully functional, the footstool also has an adjustable plate allowing the user to angle the stool, both the chair and stool are mounted on metal swivel base with solid rosewood finish.Both items are in extremely good vintage condition, and really well made by a renowned designer. The made in Denmark stamp can be seen on the underside of the chair along with the pat number- see image attached.Very comfortable and in great vintage condition, the leather has recently been cleaned and treated.
